New free track, get it while it’s hot: download.
Ever in search of new inspirations, I asked Shymuffin if there was anything he’d like me to make some music about. He gave me a couple pieces of his art, and next thing I knew I had made this moody song with live cello and bass.
You’ll notice that the melody is quoted from Crystalanthemums (of the Homestuck repertoire). The track art is the image that inspired the music, drawn by Shymuffin.
Another free track. Download here.
I had been having creative troubles, and asked Clorin to assign me a song to make in hopes of overcoming art block. The guidelines she gave were “chimes” and “giant cold cave.”
Exactly one hour later I finished a strange and ambient monster. Clorin had the honor of naming it: Deep Slumbers.
The track art is a photo taken by me that I deemed relevant.
This one is called Skaian Shuffle. Warning: hard limiting, repetitive structure, and cheap beats.
I made this something like two years ago, and I never let it be published because the quality is really only so-so. However, recently I have been working with Riki Tsuji on remastering some Homestuck tunes for the DJ set he’ll be playing live at the Austin meetup. For this reason, I’ve pulled Shuffle out of the mothballs and remastered it to be more conducive to bapping.
Bapping is what we in the music industry call DJing. We’re very professional.
